The Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1952
Pursuant to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:—

(1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1952.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 4th day of August 1952. -
Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country other than the countries specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the class set forth in the Third Schedule hereto included in the exempting notice shown in that Schedule is hereby withdrawn in so far as it relates to such goods imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country specified in the Second Schedule hereto.

Ex 196 (2) .. .. Rope soled footwear (amends decision in Gazette No. 63 of 2 August 1951).
Ex 199 (1) .. .. Canvas hose; flexible metal hose.
Ex 205 (5) .. .. Rubber tires, bicycle and similar, and inner tubes of rubber therefor, not exceeding 1¾ inches in diameter, of sizes other than the following: 28 x 1½, 28 x 1⅜, 27 x 1¼ (except skin-sided road racing cycle tires 27 x 1¼) 26 x 1¼, 26 x 1⅜, 26 x 1½, 24 x 1½, 24 x 1⅜ (amends decision in Gazette No. 63 of 2 August 1951).
