Time and Place of Elections by Fire-insurance Companies to Fill Extraordinary Vacancies on the Dunedin and Port Chalmers Fire Boards
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 12 August 1952, as the time, and the offices of the Fire and Accident Underwriters’ Association, Dunedin, as the place, for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect one member of the Dunedin Fire Board and one member of the Port Chalmers Fire Board.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby alters the Otahuhu Borough Council’s proposed classification of roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Otahuhu Borough and hereby approves such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of Section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SITUATED within Egmont County—
All that area at Rahotu consisting of that portion of the New Plymouth–Hawera via Opunake State Highway No. 26 commencing at a point 20 chains measured in a southerly direction from its junction with the Rahotu–Kahui Main Highway No. 506, and terminating at a point on the said State highway 40 chains measured in a northerly direction from the commencing point.
