Cancelling the Vesting of Reserves in the Geraldine County Council
FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of July 1952 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for a pound, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is a reserve for a pound and pound-keeper's house:
And whereas the said lands are vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Geraldine:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said lands as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Geraldine County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Geraldine of the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTEBURB LY LMD DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1373. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4103c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan Black map 308.)
SECOND SCHECULE
CANTEBURBY LAMD DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1847, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 183, folio 295 (Canterbury Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4103c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Recreation Reserves in Nelson Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928
FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of July 1952 Present:
PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for recreation in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the Stoke Domain, and shall be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE NELSON LAND DISTRICT All that area containing by admeasurement 18 acres, more or less, being part Section 50, District of Suburban South, situated in Block IV, Waimea Survey District, and being all the land as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Nelson under No. 4585.

Honorary Inspector of Scenic Reserves Appointed
FREYBERG, Governor-General PURSUANT to section 4 of the Scenery Preservation Act 1908, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Errol William Haley to be an Honorary Inspector under the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of July 1952.

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Mackenzie County Council
FREYBERG, Governor-General PURSUANT to section 13 of the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General hereby vests the control of the scenic reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act) in the Mackenzie County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-

The period for which the control of the reserves is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserves. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserves in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE
CANTEBURBLY LAMD DISTRICT RESERVES 3679, 4354, and 4644, situated in Block XI, Opawa Survey District : Total area, 25 acres and 22.7 perches, more or less. (S.O. plans 8000 and 8386.)

FREYBERG, Governor-General PURSUANT to section 13 of the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General hereby vests the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Lower Hutt City Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of June 1952.
