Lemon Marketing Regulations—Notice Fixing Prices of Certain
Grades

Pursuant to regulation 19 of the Lemon Marketing Regu-
lations 1946, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel
to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to
the Department during the undermentioned period.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive 1 June to 30 June
1952):

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the pro-
visions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far
as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply
to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following
provision shall apply:
A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regu-
lations 1940, to the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule
hereunder may authorize them to drive a heavy trade motor in the
course of their employment for the employers described in column 2
of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize them, while they are
under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy motor for any
other purpose.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of
the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister
of Transport hereby declares the area described in the Schedule
hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said
section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any
road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty
miles an hour fixed by the said section.

Situated within Waimairi County—
All that area at Stewart's Gully, consisting of Stewart's Gully
Road, commencing at its junction with the Picton-Christchurch
State Highway No. 51 and terminating at the Government railway-
crossing.
