A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 24·1 perches, more or less, being Lot 46 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 38056, being part of Allotment 2, Parish of Whangarei. (S.O. plan 36539.)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Masterton County, containing by admeasurement 1,365 acres, more or less, being Run 51, situated in Block X, Rewa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 91/2, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Wellington plan S.O. 14139.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of May 1952.

Lands Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 380 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, being part of Subdivision 1B of Section 19, Square 91 (Okiwi Maori Reserve), situated in Block X, Whangamoa Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 113, folio 36 (Nelson Registry).
