WAIAPI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiau County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1920, proposes to execute certain public works—namely (1) to take land for the purpose of a roadman's cottage, and for the purpose of such work the lands described in the First Schedule are required to be taken; (2) to take land for road, and for the purposes of such work lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be taken. Notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands required for such public works are deposited in the office of the Waiapu County Council at Te Puia and at the offices of Messrs. Nolan and Skeet, Solicitors, Childers Road, Gisborne, and are open for inspection by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of such public works or any of them who have any well-founded ground of objection thereto must state their objection in writing, and deliver same to the Clerk of the Waiapu County Council at Te Puia within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

FIRST SCHEDULE
Land Required for Worker's Dwelling
Area : 1 rood 30:5 perches, being part Lot 4 of Small Grazing Run No. 57, situated in Block I, Tokomaru Survey District, shown on S.O. Plan 4693 (blue), and thereon coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE
Land Required for Road
Situated in Block I, Waiapu Survey District, shown on S.O. Plan 4342 (blue).

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provision of the above-mentioned Acts, to exclude a certain public work—namely, the establishment of a war memorial within the County of Franklin—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the 16th day of May 1952, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

PURSUANT to section 222 (I) of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that on Thursday, 15 May 1952, the following extraordinary resolutions were passed at a general meeting of the company—
"'1. That the company cannot be reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
"2. That Mr. B. L. Swan, B.Com., A.P.A.N.Z., Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.'"

LOWER HUTT CITY CORPORATION
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, by virtue of the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and the amendments thereof respectively and by virtue of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling to execute a public work—to wit, the provision of a parking-place as defined by section 33 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1938 within the City of Lower Hutt—and for the purpose of such public work the pieces of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Council, situate at the corner of Laings Road and High Street in the said city and is there open for inspection; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land or any one or more of them should, if they have any well-founded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land or any one or more of them, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situate as aforesaid.

  9. All that piece of land situate in the City of Lower Hutt containing twenty-seven and eight-tenths perches (27·8 perches), be the same a little more or less, and being part of Section 29 of the Hutt District, and being also Lot 21 of Block IV on Deposited Plan No. 1399, and all the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 218, folio 86 (Wellington Registry).
