Notice of Intention to Take Land and an Easement Over Land in Block IX, Waihua Survey District, for a Gravel-pit

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for a gravel-pit and to take an easement for a gravel-pit over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said gravel-pit, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land and easement so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Raupunga and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land and easement should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land and easement, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 1 acre 2 roods 35·2 perches.
Being part Mohaka A 17 Block; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the above described easement is required to be taken: 1 acre 29 perches.
Being part Mohaka A 17 Block; coloured yellow.

All situated in Block IX, Waihua Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2550.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136999, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

As witness my hand at Wellington, this 14th day of May 1952.
