THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of thirty-seven thousand pounds (£37,000), and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows :—

  1. The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed thirty (30) years.

  2. The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3 5s.) per centum per annum.

  3. The said loan or any part thereof shall be free of principal repayments during the first two years from the date of the borrowing thereof.

  4. Thereafter the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the balance of the term amounting to twenty-eight (28) years.

  5. The payment of interest for the first two years and thereafter the payment of the instalments of principal and interest shall be made in New Zealand.

  6. No interest after the first two years and no instalments of principal and interest shall be paid out of loan-moneys.

  7. The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procurement fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.

  8. No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Setting Apart Maori Land as a Maori Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of May 1952

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart and reserves the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the Maoris of the Te Atiawa Tribe as a burial-ground.


SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Aotea Maori Land Court District, situated in Block I of the Waitara Survey District, containing 2 roods, more or less, and called or known as Part Manukorihi Subdivision No. 2. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered M.A. 21/1/38, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Pukekohe Borough Council

FREYBERG, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General hereby vests the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Pukekohe Borough Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

  1. The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

  2. The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

  3. The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 2·6 perches, more or less, situated in Block XV, Drury Survey District, being Lots 20 to 27 (inclusive) as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 16013, being part of Allotment 12, Pukekohe Parish, and being the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 707, folio 207 (Auckland Registry).
