report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall
be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual
meeting.
9. The Board shall control the said reserve and the building
erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford
settlers and residents of Millerton and the surrounding district such
facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time
be determined by the Board; provided that the Board shall have
power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.

Warrant Vesting the Control of the Whitianga Ferry in the Coromandel
County Council
FREYBERG, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 136 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby direct that the ferry described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of the notification of this Warrant
in the Gazette, be under the exclusive care, control, and management
of the Coromandel County Council.
SCHEDULE
THE ferry in the South Auckland Land District established on
an arm of the Whitianga Harbour and having its western terminal
point at the wharf adjacent to the Whitianga Township and its
eastern terminal point at the Whitianga-Whenuakite Road, situated
in Block X, Otama Survey District, and operating on the track
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136276, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 8th day of May 1952.
