Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICTโ€”AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 35 acres 2 rood 16 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District and being Allotment N. 50, Hikurangi Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 9/24, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of May 1952.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act 1925, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, being part of the County of Bruce, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Taieri River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 17, Block I, Clarendon Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 17 aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Section 17 and Section 16, Block I, aforesaid, to and across a public road; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of that road to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Blocks 19, 18, 8, and 3, Waihola Survey District, the Township of Kapiti, and Block 2, Waihola Survey District; thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Blocks 1 and 8, Tokomairiro Survey District, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 83A and 83, Block 9, Tokomairiro Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the district boundary between the Tokomairiro and Akatore Survey Districts to the right bank of the Tokomairiro River, along that right bank to and thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Block I, Kaitangata Survey District to the north-western boundary of Section 3s, Tokoiti Settlement; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundary of Section 3s aforesaid to and across a road; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western side of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Section 1 of 39, Block 2, Kaitangata Survey District; thence along the south-eastern, southern, and south-western boundaries of Section 1 of 39 aforesaid; thence along the south-eastern and southern boundary of Section 24, Block 2, aforesaid to and across Elliotvale Road; thence south-westerly along the western side of that road to and north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 21 and 8, Block 2, aforesaid; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along the district boundary between North Tuakitoto and Kaitangata Survey Districts; thence southerly along the district boundary between the Kaitangata and South Tuakitoto Survey Districts; thence southerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the Borough of Kaitangata, and Blocks 2 and 1, North Molyneaux Survey District, to the sea; thence generally north-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the South Pacific Ocean to the mouth of the Taieri River; thence up the middle of the Taieri River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 17, Block I, Clarendon Survey District, being the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 200, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon bordered red.

Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt

[L.S.] FREYBERG, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of May 1952.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 27 perches.
Being part Section 47, Hutt District.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 22404.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135680, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of May 1952.
