Amending a Proclamation Setting Apart Land as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 8th day of July 1948 and published in New Zealand Gazette on the 22nd day of July 1948, at page 901, hereinafter referred to as the said Proclamation, an area of land containing 574 acres 2 roods 6 perches, being part of Section 10, Block I, and part of Section 1, Block II, Motupiko Survey District, Nelson Land District, was set apart as permanent State forest land in terms of section 18 of the Forests Act 1921–22:
And whereas an error was made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that this error be rectified:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the said Proclamation by omitting from the said Schedule the words “right-of-way” and substituting the words “strip of land” in lieu thereof, and I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for Post and Telegraph purposes, is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of May 1952.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Waitaki–Bluff Railway (Mosgiel–Outram Branch); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of May 1952.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 5 acres and 35·17 perches.
Being Lot 38, D.P. 7285, being part Section 11, Block II, East Taieri District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 356, folio 219 (Otago Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a surfaceman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of May 1952.
