in the Borough of Martinborough

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school (teacher’s residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of April 1952.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 1 perch. Being part Section 1, Wharekaka Block, and being also Lot 137, on D.P. 248.
Situated in the Borough of Martinborough, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 550, folio 274 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of April 1952.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers’ dwellings, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a pound, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of April 1952.

PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the sale to Koiro Farm, Limited, of all the land described in the Schedule hereto or any interest therein, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

WHEREAS the Poverty Bay Electric-power Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000) to be known as “Extensions Loan 1952” (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of further reticulating the Poverty Bay Electric-power District, purchasing office equipment, motor-vehicles and land, and constructing buildings, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan :
