THE GUARDIAN TRUST AND EXECUTORS CO. OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED
(Empowered by Special Act of Parliament 1883)
IN conformity with the above Act, I, ERNEST BISSETT, General Manager of the Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—
- That the liability of the members is limited. The capital of the company is £100,000 fully paid, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
The assets of the company in its corporate capacity on the 31st day of December last were £146,344.
The liabilities of the company in its corporate capacity on that day were £5,947.
The first annual licence was issued on the 10th day of March 1911.
- That in the capacity of trustees and executors the amount of moneys received on account of estates up to the 31st day of December last was £52,786,988.
The amount of moneys paid on account of estates up to that day was £52,577,333.
The amount of balances held in trust accounts at various banks on account of estates under administration on that day was £209,655.
- And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act 1927.

BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Plant, Machinery, and Building Loan 1951, £10,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Local Bodies’ Amendment Act 1951, the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and in pursuance and exercise of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Ashburton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a special loan of £10,000 authorized to be raised by the Ashburton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts and for the purpose of purchasing plant and machinery and erecting buildings to house machinery, the Ashburton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two pence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable property on the basis of annual value of all rateable property in the Borough of Ashburton; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of ZEETA LIMITED (in voluntary liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of Zeeta Limited (in voluntary liquidation) will be held at the office of the liquidator, National Buildings, Tutanekai Street, Rotorua, on Friday the 18th day of April 1952, at 2 p.m. for the purpose of laying before such meeting the liquidator’s accounts, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and to offer any explanations the liquidator may wish to give, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the company as required by the Companies Act 1933.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the Linwood Stores, Limited, held on Monday, 17 March 1952, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that STANLEY EDWARD FIELD, Public Accountant, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”
Notice to Creditors to Prove
THE liquidator of Linwood Stores, Limited, doth hereby fix the 25th day of April 1952, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Companies Act 1933, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

CASTLEPOINT COUNTY COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING AND LEVYING BRIDGE RATE
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Castlepoint County Council, held in Tinui on Tuesday, 12 February 1952, at 10 a.m., the following resolution was passed by way of special order:—
“ That, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act 1920 and section 24 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and all other Acts and amendments relative thereto, and pursuant to a poll of ratepayers of the County of Castlepoint taken in the 29th day of September 1951, on a proposal to make and levy a bridge rate, which poll was duly carried, and notification of the result thereof given in the N.Z. Gazette of 25 October 1951, No. 82, at page 1611, the Castlepoint County Council doth hereby make and levy a Bridge rate of three-farthings (¾d.) in the pound on the capital rateable values of all rateable property in the County of Castlepoint for the purpose of providing the amounts required to meet instalments of interest and principal on all loans raised from time to time under the provisions of section 25 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the said bridge rate to be an annually recurring rate.”
