Further Proroguing the General Assembly

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 20th day of March 1952: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit to prorogue it further:

Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby further prorogue the General Assembly until Thursday, the 5th day of June 1952, and summon it to meet at 2.30 p.m. on that day in the Parliament House in the City of Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of March 1952.
