Revoking a Notice Declaring Parts of the Takitimu Tribal District
to be Tribal Committee Areas Under the Maori Social and
Economic Advancement Act, 1945
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic
Advancement Act 1945, I, Ernest Bowyer Corbett, Minister
of Maori Affairs, hereby revoke the notice dated the 10th day of
July 1947, and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of July
1947, at page 885, declaring parts of the Takitimu Tribal District
to be tribal committee areas, and the notice dated the 24th day of
March 1950 and published in the Gazette on the 30th day of March
1950, at page 348, varying the first mentioned notice.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they
relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the
person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following
provision shall apply:—
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940, to the person described in Column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor
in the course of his employment for the employer described in
Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while
he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor
for any other purpose.

to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the
following provision shall apply:—

1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the
person named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column
1 of the said Schedule.

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1352, and shall
be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1147*
(hereinafter referred to as the principal Order). -
This order shall come into force on the 10th day of March

The principal Order as amended by Price Order No. 1280†
is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following clause:—
“5. No additional charge shall be made by any retailer for
wrapping any bread to which this Order applies.”

Bowater Motors, Ltd., Nelson, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from one pump at garage premises at Whakatu Lane,
Nelson.
R. B. Win and Co., Ltd., Nelson, has applied for a licence to
resell motor-spirit from one pump at garage and service-station
premises at 168 Rutherford Street, Nelson.
Manufacture of Nails
Metal Smelting and Refining Co., Ltd., Auckland, has applied
for a licence to manufacture nails at 98 Nelson Street, Auckland.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 20 March 1952, submit
