All that portion of the Opawa River, situated in the Marlborough County, from the eastern boundary of the Borough of Blenheim to the western boundary of Mr. M. B. Hope’s property, known as Blink Bonnie, being Section 33, Opawa Registration District, Block XVII, Cloudy Bay Survey District.

NELSON ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) Lake Rotoiti.

(2) The Waimea Electric Co.’s two dams on the Wairoa River at Brightwater.

(3) All that area in the Nelson Land District, being part of Section 11, Block VI, Waitapu Survey District, owned by E. C. and E. M. Wadsworth, and containing approximately 150 acres, excluding therefrom the Blue Lake Sanctuary as described in Gazette No. 12 of 4th March, 1948, at page 246.

(4) That part of the Cobb River Valley and catchment area between the permanent hydro-electric dam site in the east, and Round Lake in the west, being the bed of the Cobb River and the bed of Sylvester Creek, together with strips of land one mile wide measured from each bank of the Cobb River and of Sylvester Creek, and including Round Lake, Double Lakes, Lake Cobb, Lake Henderson, Camp Lake, all artificial lakes formed by dams on the Cobb River, Lake Sylvester, and Lake Little Sylvester.

(5) Part Section 110, Block 10, Waitapu Survey District, being the property of A. N. Irvine.

(6) Part Section 116A and part Section Blocks 9 and 10, Waitapu Survey District, being the property of L. W. Brough.

NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) All that area in the County of Akaroa, situated in the Akaroa and Ellesmere Survey Districts, Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,540 acres, more or less, being the lake known as Lake Forsyth, including all roads fronting on the shores of the said lake; and all those reserves in the said county and survey districts numbered 3186, 3187, 3185, 2903, 890, and 157, excluding therefrom Native Reserve 385 adjoining Lake Forsyth, and those portions of R.S. 2474, 4804, and 6012, being the flat land adjoining Okute and Little River Streams and Lake Forsyth.

(2) Ahuriri Lagoon.

(3) Glenmark Lagoon.

(4) Cheviot or St. Anne’s Lagoon, together with a strip of land 150 ft. in width along the margin thereof, being part of Section 27, Block 4, part Sections 1 and 4 of Block 7, in the Cheviot Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(5) R.S. 1352, 1269, part 1439, Block X, Rangiora Survey District, comprising 71 acres, and part R.S. 1462, Block X, Rangiora Survey District, comprising 77 acres 1 rood 17 perches, the property of the Andrews Twine Company.

(6) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Rural Section 17571; thence north-easterly generally along Fairweather Road, Harper’s Road, and Dixon’s Road to the northern boundary of Reserve 3415; thence along that boundary to a point due west of the easternmost corner of Rural Section 14341; thence along a right line to that point; thence westerly generally along the road forming the southern boundary of that section and of Rural Section 5785 to Heyward’s Road; thence north-westerly along Heyward’s Road to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 3415; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary to a point in line with the southern boundary of Rural Section 17571; thence to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Section 17571, the point of commencement.

(7) That portion of the Weka Stream and its tributaries flowing through or bounding the properties of Messrs. F. C. Archer, A. Todd, R. B. Johnson, L. W. Ferguson, W. Antill, and A. Craighead, in the Waikari Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(8) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Rural Sections 4300, 4357, 4591, 4592, and 5235, situated in Block XVI, Waipara Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(9) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Mytholm, Lake Sumner, Marion, Saddle, Minchin, Katrine, and Noble Survey Districts, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Sisters Stream; thence by the left bank of the aforesaid north branch of the Hurunui River in a north-westerly direction to Lake Sumner; thence by a right line in a northerly direction to the summit of Mount Longfellow; thence by a right line in a north-westerly direction to the most northern point of Lake Marion; thence by a line parallel to and one mile on the north side of Lake Sumner and the Hurunui River to the summit of the Southern Alps; thence south along the aforesaid Southern Alps to a point one mile on the south side of Harper’s Pass; thence by a line parallel to and one mile south of the Hurunui River, Lake Sumner, the Canal, Loch Katrine, the Dray Road, Lake Taylor, to a point one mile due south of Trig. Station T in Noble Survey District; thence from the last-named point in an easterly direction to Dog Hill; thence by a right line to the point of commencement: save and excepting from the above-described area Rural Section 33978, Lake Sheppard, and a strip of land 11 chains wide surrounding the said Lake Sheppard.

(10) The property of Mr. Douglas Deans, of Darfield, being Rural Sections 4010x, 4012, 8985, 8985x, 17568, 17568x, 22175x, 22176x, 22176w, 22176y, and 22176z, and parts of Rural Sections 3222, 3838, 3839, 4010, 4011, 4116, 4117, 4118, 4119, 8982, 8986, 16085, 22175, and 22176, situated in Blocks I and V, Hawkin’s Survey District, containing by admeasurement 955 acres 3 roods 25 perches, and being the land in certificate of title, Vol. 281, folio 131, Canterbury Registry.

(11) The property of the New Zealand Refrigeration Co., Ltd., near Templeton, Islington, and Hornby, containing by admeasurement 285 acres 1 rood 23 perches, and being Rural Sections 3998, 3077, 4205, part 4382, 9199, 13501, 1983, 3213, and 330; as the same is delineated more particularly on a plan numbered I.A. 52/49, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

(12) All that area of land at Flaxton, 1 chain in width, including the roadway on either side of the main drain, extending in a westerly direction from the Skew Bridge to Smith’s Road, a distance of two miles, comprising part Rural Sections 1762, 1446, 1621, 1613, 1220, 1640, 2066, 1283, 2010, 1693, 1695, 1685, 1616, 1221, 1058, 1168, and 404, Rangiora Survey District.

(13) All that area of land containing 62 acres, more or less, at Coutts Island, in the Land District of Canterbury, and being parts of Rural Sections 2208, 2272, 2383, 2384, and a portion of closed road situated in Block II of the Christchurch Survey District, as shown on plan marked I.A. 46/16/25, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(14) All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in the Counties of Eyre and Waimairi, commencing at a point being the western end of White’s Bridge over the South Branch of the Waimakariri River, and proceeding in a straight line south-westerly on a true bearing of 189° 30′ for a distance of 3940 links, to a point on the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 560; thence south-easterly in a straight line to the westernmost corner of Lot 4 D.P. 9738; thence generally north-easterly and north-westerly along a terrace and stop-bank to the eastern end of White’s Bridge; thence westerly along White’s Bridge to the commencing point, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(15) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of the intersection of Blake’s Road and Belfast Road; thence easterly generally along Belfast Road to its intersection with Crawfords Road; thence southerly along Crawfords Road a distance of 2038 links to its intersection with an unnamed road; thence westerly a distance of 500 links along the unnamed road; thence southerly a distance of 50 links along the western boundary of the said unnamed road; thence easterly a distance of 1450 links along the northern boundary of Lots 5 and 6, Deposited Plan 593, to the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 6; thence southerly a distance of 1815 links along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 6 to the south-eastern boundary thereof; thence north-westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 6 and Lot 5, Deposited Plan 593, a distance of 2770 links to the north-western boundary of Lot 19, Deposited Plan 699; thence southerly a distance of 2021·4 links along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 19 to Radcliffe Road; thence westerly along Radcliffe Road to its intersection with Blake’s Road; thence northerly generally along Blake’s Road to its intersection with Belfast Road, the commencing point, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(16) All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District known as the Washpen and bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Waikari-Reefton State Highway No. 72 and the Waikare-Waitohi Main Highway No. 143; thence south-westerly along the northern side of the Waikari-Waitohi Main Highway No. 143 and bounding Lot 1, D.P. 5471, owned and occupied by Mr. F. K. Forrester, for a distance of 6920·4 links; thence
