Storage Charges at Christchurch on Goods ex Ship

Goods discharged ex-ship at Lyttelton and conveyed to Christchurch for delivery will be allowed free storage on the first day they are available for delivery and the following day. After the expiration of this period, storage will be charged at the following rates:
For the first four days, per day or part thereof ... 1s. 6d. per ton. Minimum charge, 6d. per day.
Each succeeding day or part thereof ... 3s. per ton. Minimum charge, 1s. per day. -
Handling Charges on Motor Vehicles at Lyttelton

The following handling charges will be payable on motor-vehicles discharged from or loaded on to vessels at the Lyttelton Steamer Express wharf:
(a) For each motor bicycle delivered to or received from persons on the wharf ... 1 6
(b) For each motor-vehicle or motor-vehicle trailer delivered to or received from persons on the wharf ... 3 0
(c) For each motor-vehicle loaded on to or unloaded from railway wagons at the wharf ... 5 6 -
The charges as set out in para. 1 of this regulation will also apply to inter-Island passengers' motor-vehicles conveyed by vessels used to supplement the steamer express service at holiday periods.

Haulage and Shunting Charges, Christchurch, Riccarton, and Addington

Except where otherwise specified, the charge for haulage between the Department's sheds at Christchurch will be as follows:
Goods not otherwise specified (minimum charge, ls. 6d.) ... 3s. per ton. -
All goods conveyed from private sidings or station yards at Riccarton to private sidings or station yards at Addington, or vice versa, will be charged 3s. per ton or part of a ton; minimum charge 15s.

Grain in lots of not less than 20 tons conveyed from private sidings or station yards at Christchurch to private sidings or station yards at Riccarton, or vice versa, will be charged 5s. per ton.

Grain in lots of not less than 6 tons conveyed from private sidings or station yards at Christchurch to private sidings or station yards at Addington, or vice versa, will be charged 5s. per ton.

The charges for haulage, handling, and sorting goods ex-ship for local delivery at Picton will be as follows:

Goods and parcels booked between stations on the Government railway and Roa (Mines Department's line) will, in addition to the classified or local rates on the Government railway, be charged as follows for conveyance between Blackball and Roa:
