THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 136401, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.


SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 39·3 perches, more or less, being part Lot 9, D.P. 11855, being part Allotment 39, Parish of Manurewa.

PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Robert Keith Murphy to acquire by way of leasehold the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.


SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situated in Block I, Tauakira Survey District, containing 2,369 acres, more or less, being part of the Pukehika Block, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 238, folio 87 (Wellington Registry).

PURSUANT to the Naval Defence Act 1913, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends and supplements the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown herein.


SCHEDULE

REGULATIONS for the Royal New Zealand Naval Reserve (Men) 1922.*

Regulation 52: Cancel paragraph (b) of subclause (2), and substitute the following paragraph:—

“ (b) Undergoing or required to undergo training, or absent on leave or without leave from any naval establishment, ship, or other vessel, or going to or from any place of parade, exercise, training, or naval duty; or ”.
