In the matter of the Companies Act 1933 and in the matter of STEELE PROPERTIES LIMITED

NOTICE is hereby given that by means of a special resolution dated 31 January 1952 and completed in accordance with section 300, subsection (1) of the Companies Act 1933, it was resolved—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily and that KENNETH SCOTT GLENDINNING, Public Accountant, of Palmerston North, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

All creditors claims to be filed with the undersigned by 25 February 1952.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

Redemption Loan 1951 of £63,400

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges of a loan of sixty-three thousand four hundred pounds (£63,400) authorized to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming on the 1st day of April 1952 outstanding debentures issued by the Council pursuant to the provisions of the New Plymouth Borough Loans Conversion Order 1934 (No. 1) amounting to £63,400 the said New Plymouth City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen-sixteenths of a penny (1³⁄₁₆d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of New Plymouth comprising the whole of the City of New Plymouth, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten and a half (10½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
