to be an Inspector for the purposes of the Dairy Industry Act 1908 on and from the 26th day of November 1951.

to be an Inspector for the purposes of the Dairy Industry Act 1908 on and from the 23rd day of November 1951.

Kenneth Henley Miers

to be a Ranger under the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22 and an Officer for the purposes of Part 2 of the Fisheries Act 1908 on and from the 26th day of November 1951.

Lewis Gordon Morrison

to be an Inspector for the purposes of the Orchard and Garden Diseases Act 1928 on and from the 14th day of December 1951.

David Lloyd Harrison

to be an Analyst for the purposes of the Stock Foods Act 1946 and the Stock Remedies Act 1934 on and from the 14th day of December 1951.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Better Utilization in Blocks IV and V, Town of Albert Town

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for better utilization; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Wanaka and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be taken :—

0 0 32 Section 10, Block IV, Town of Albert Town; Being coloured yellow.
0 0 29·7 Section 24, Block V, Town of Albert Town; coloured blue.

In the Otago Land District, as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135714, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in the Borough of Gore for an Automatic-telephone Exchange

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for an automatic-telephone exchange; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Gore and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land required to be taken: 6·4 perches.

Situated in the Borough of Gore.

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 136065, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Mobile Hoppers Exempted From Annual Licence Fees

PURSUANT to paragraph (n) of the First Schedule to the Motor Vehicles (Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations 1948, as amended by regulation 3 of the Motor Vehicles (Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations 1948, Amendment No. 1, any motor-vehicle or trailer designed and used on the road exclusively for carrying and operating a hopper shall be exempt from the payment of annual licence fees under Part II of the Transport Act 1949.
