Vesting Reserves in the Mackenzie County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of December 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as reserves for plantation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mackenzie:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mackenzie, in trust, for plantation purposes.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4623, situated in Block XI, Opawa Survey District: Area, 7 acres and 16 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 8386.)
Also Reserves 4564 and 4565, situated in Block XI, Opawa Survey District: Total area, 13 acres and 18·8 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 8000.)
Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act, 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Vesting Control of a Reserve Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of December 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908 (hereinafter termed the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests the control of the reserve for an addition to Nuhaka Thermal Springs Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act, and hereby declares that the said reserve shall be administered under the said Act.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 11 and 21, Block XV, Nuhaka North Survey District: Area, 323 acres, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. (S.O. plan 1800.)

Reserve in Hawke’s Bay District Brought Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of December 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for an addition to Nuhaka Thermal Springs Reserve in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908; and such reserve shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Ngarimu Domain

Joseph Frederick Eames,
Dudley York Edwards,
Thomas William Hammond,
William Dick Jack, and
George Richard Stuart
to be the Ngarimu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby appoints Tuesday, the 8th day of January, 1952, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Miss Hammond’s Store, Thornton Bay, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
