  1. Artificial Manures and Raw Material (Except Lime) for the Manufacture of Artificial Manures
    Omit paragraphs 4 and 5, and substitute the following :—

  2. The Department may require all loading, unloading, and tallying to be performed by the owners. Where loading, unloading, or tallying is performed by the Department, the following charges will be made :—

Regulation 92 :—

Paragraph 1 : Omit this paragraph, and substitute the following :—

  1. Stock (other than freak animals for exhibition at side-shows), implements, tractors, dogs, poultry, birds, produce, &c. (but not including motor-bicycles, motor-cars, motor-lorries, or motor-buses), consigned for exhibition at agricultural, horticultural, dog, poultry, pigeon, and cage-bird shows, and egg-laying competitions will be charged full tariff rates going to the show or competition ; freight charges must be prepaid.

Paragraphs 2 and 4 : Omit the words “ploughing-match, parade, or dog trial” wherever they appear.

Paragraph 12 : Omit this paragraph.

Regulation 96, paragraph 1, subparagraph (c) : Omit this subparagraph, and substitute the following :—

(c) For haulage from ship to ship or private store or siding, or vice versa—

(b) Goods ex-ship comprising two or more packages or articles (other than those mentioned in subparagraph (a) of this paragraph) which require to be sorted out for delivery or redespatch will be charged for such sorting at the following rates :—

Provided that where cranage charges are incurred the provisions of regulation 100, paragraph 1, subparagraphs (c) and (d) will apply.

Regulation 97, paragraphs 4, 5, and 6 : Omit these paragraphs, and substitute the following :—

  1. Except as provided in paragraph 2 hereof, or where wagons are fully loaded, the minimum load of a wagon lifted from, or delivered to, a private siding, will be as follows :—

  1. Check and Empty Railway-wagons

Paragraph 2, subparagraph (c) : The rates embodied in this subparagraph will not be increased.

  1. Fractional Parts of Pence, Hundredweights, and Miles

Paragraph 2 : Omit this paragraph, and substitute the following :—

  1. The charges for luggage, parcels, &c. (regulations 46 to 67 inclusive) will be computed to the nearest penny. Where a fraction of 1d. occurs, such fraction if less than ½d. shall be omitted, and if ½d. or over, shall be taken as 1d.

  2. Light and Bulky Articles

Paragraph 1 : Omit this paragraph, and substitute the following :—

  1. Except where otherwise provided, the charges for consignments of goods which, by reason of their light and bulky character, or other circumstance connected with the nature of the goods, require the sole use of a wagon for their carriage, and which goods if properly loaded will not permit of other goods being loaded in the same wagon, will be computed on the following minimum weights :—
