Lemon Marketing Regulations—Notice Fixing Prices of Certain Grades

PURSUANT to regulation 19 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1946, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period :—

Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943—Revocation of Notice Declaring Intention to Take Land for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 32 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943, the Minister of Lands doth hereby revoke the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 39 of 8 July 1948, at page 863, declaring intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the settlement of a discharged serviceman.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks I and IV, Tiritiri Survey District, containing by admeasurement seven hundred and fifty-five (755) acres and five (5) perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 18121, being Allotments 2, 3, 4, and 221, and part of Allotment 237, Waiwera Parish, and part of the land on Deposited Plan 2187, being part of Allotment 237, Waiwera Parish, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 411, folio 56 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks I and IV, Tiritiri Survey District, containing by admeasurement three hundred and five (305) acres and sixteen (16) perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 6, Waiwera Parish, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 585, folio 260 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels and title.

Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943—Revocation of Notice Declaring Land Taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 32 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943, the Minister of Lands doth hereby revoke the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30 of 12 April 1951, page 497, declaring that the land described in the Schedules hereto is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman.

FIRST SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement ten (10) perches, more or less, being Section 3051, Block I, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 26, folio 36 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement one hundred and six (106) acres and ten (10) perches, more or less, being Subdivision 5 on Deposited Plan 467 of Lot 1 of Section 1561, Block I, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 24, folio 169 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement six hundred and ninety-one (691) acres and thirty-five (35) perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 381, being part Section 1561, Block I, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 23, folio 2 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement forty-nine (49) acres, more or less, being Section 985, Block V, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 178 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement one hundred (100) acres, more or less, being Section 719, Block V, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 11, folio 136 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement thirty-seven (37) acres, more or less, being Section 1214, Block IX, Kaniere Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 27, folio 213 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement one hundred and five (105) acres, more or less, being Section 1217, Block IX, Kaniere Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 5, folio 1458 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement twenty-one (21) acres two (2) roods, more or less, being part Section 1225, Block IX, Kaniere Survey District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 171 (Westland Registry).

SECOND SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement ninety-five (95) acres, more or less, being Section 984, Block VI, Toaroha Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 147 (Westland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement seventy-five (75) acres and twenty (20) perches, more or less, being part Section 719, Block V, Toaroha Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 11, folio 136 (Westland Registry), shown edged red on S.O. plan 4539, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Hokitika.

Varying a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, I, Ernest Bowyer Corbett, Minister of Maori Affairs, hereby vary the notice dated the 10th day of July 1947 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 17th day of July 1947, at page 884, declaring parts of the Wellington Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas for the purposes of the said Act, by substituting for the name Poneke Tribal Committee Area appearing in the Schedule thereto the name Ngati Poneke Tribal Committee Area.

Revoking Warrants Excluding Roads from Limitation as to Speed and Excluding Roads from the Speed Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 21st day of December 1936*, which applies to those portions of roads described in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby revoke the Warrant dated the 30th day of April 1948†, which amends a speed limitation in Henderson Borough, and doth hereby exclude those portions of roads described in the Second Schedule hereto from limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Henderson Town District :—
Auckland-Helensville-Waiwera Main Highway No. 13 (all that portion from its junction with Henderson-Kumeu Main Highway to the northern boundary of Henderson Town District, a distance of approximately 25 chains).
Henderson-Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway No. 384 (all that portion from its junction with Auckland-Helensville-Waiwera Main Highway to the north-western boundary of Henderson Town District, a distance of approximately 40 chains).

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Henderson Borough :—
Auckland-Helensville State Highway No. 6 (all that portion commencing at a point 12 chains measured along the said State highway in a northerly direction from its junction with the Henderson-Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway, and terminating at the northern boundary of Henderson Borough).
Henderson-Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway No. 384 (all that portion commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Helensville State Highway, and terminating at the north-western boundary of Henderson Borough).
Henderson Valley Main Highway No. 385 (all that portion commencing at the south-western boundary of Henderson Borough and terminating at a point 5 chains measured along the said main highway in a northerly direction from its junction with Domain Road).
