Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block V, Reefton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of November 1951.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1·3 perches. Being formerly part Residence-site Licence No. 5010.
Situated in Block V, Reefton Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9536.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135279, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of November 1951.

Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Bernard Cyril, Baron Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1951.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 36·6 perches. Being Section 463, Hutt District, being closed street adjoining or passing through Subdivision I of Section 58 and parts of Sections 59 and 228, Hutt District.
Situated in Blocks IX and X, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 22267.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135954, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of December 1951.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £3,628 by the Springs County Council and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of November 1951
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Whereas the Springs County Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section 30 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, to raise a loan of three thousand six hundred and twenty-eight pounds (£3,628) to be known as “Plant Loan 1951” (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of purchasing plant:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act 1932 (No. 2), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of three thousand six hundred and twenty-eight pounds, (£3,628) and in giving such consent hereby determines as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed eight (8) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.
