Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the Woodville

THE following resolution, passed by the Woodville County
Council on the 5th day of October 1951, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950.
RESOLUTION
In accordance with section 22 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the
Woodville County assumes responsibility for the administration of
the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 within its boundaries as from 1 October
1951.

on the 23rd day of August 1951, is published in accordance
with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950.
SPECIAL ORDER
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Howick
Town Board hereby, by special order, declares that the plants
mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the
district of the said Howick Town Board.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943—Revocation of
Notice Declaring Land Taken for the Settlement of Discharged
Servicemen
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 32 of the Servicemen’s
Settlement and Land Sales Act 1943, the Minister of Lands
doth hereby revoke the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette
No. 44 on the 28th day of July 1949, at page 1601, declaring the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be taken for the settlement
of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 19th day of
October 1951 as the date on which the said notice shall be deemed
to be revoked.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing eighty-four (84) acres, more or
less, being Rural Sections 3017 and 3018 and part Rural Section
4244, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Leeston Survey District,
and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 364,
folio 205, Volume 364, folio 206 (both limited as to parcels), and
Volume 481, folio 238 (Canterbury Registry).

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for road ; and notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post-office at Tuai and is there open for inspection ; and that all
persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth
the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at
Wellington.
