WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Additional Loan, 1950, of £2,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Warkworth Town Board, hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges of a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Warkworth Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the waterworks for the improvement of the Town District water supply, the Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny (½d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the whole of the Warkworth Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such a loan, being payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Warkworth Town Board at a meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1950.

Pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that a meeting of Rohan Industries, Limited, will be held on Wednesday, 21st day of February, 1951, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the Chamber of Commerce Board Room, Dowling Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 21st day of February, 1951, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairarapa East Rabbit Board resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand one hundred pounds (£2,100), authorized to be raised by the Wairarapa East Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a dwelling-house for occupation by the Board’s Inspector (Housing Loan, 1950), the said Wairarapa East Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-ninths of a penny (²⁄₉d.) upon every acre of rateable land in the whole of the Board’s District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

It is hereby certified that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Wairarapa East Rabbit Board on the 9th day of February, 1951.
