Vesting a Reserve in the Auckland City Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of October 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for water-conservation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for water-conservation purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 1 and 2, Block XIII, Wairoa Survey District: Total area, 28 acres 3 roods 13 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act, 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act, 1950. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a roadman’s cottage: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei, in trust, for a site for a roadman’s cottage.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akitio, in trust, for County purposes.

PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints
The member of the Manukau County Council representing the Pakuranga Riding, ex officio,
William John Bailey,
Douglas John Cordingley Barker,
Sydney Michael Farrelly,
Henry Richard Hawkes,
Henry John Keys, and
Victor Samuel Rogers
to be the Bucklands Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Monday, the 8th day of October 1951, at 8 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tennis Pavilion, Buckland Avenue, Bucklands Beach, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

The Animals Protection (Acclimatization Districts Abolition of and Constitution of) Warrant 1951

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby declare as follows:—
(1) This warrant may be cited as the Animals Protection (Acclimatization Districts Abolition of and Constitution of) Warrant 1951.
(2) This Warrant shall take effect on and from 1 October 1951.
(3) The Grey District Acclimatization District (as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of 12 March 1925, page 750) is abolished.
(4) The Buller Acclimatization District (as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of 12 March 1925, page 749) is abolished.
(5) The area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be a district under and for the purposes of the said Act, and shall be known as the West Coast Acclimatization District.
(6) The boundaries of the Nelson Acclimatization District (as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of 12 March 1925, page 751) shall be as set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WEST COAST ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Nelson and Westland Land Districts bounded towards the north-west generally by a line starting at a point on the Tasman Sea coast at Kohaihai Bluff in Block XIII, Whakapoi Survey District, and proceeding up a leading spur and along the summit of a range over Mount Domett to Mount Cobb; thence towards the north-east generally by a line along the summit of the western ranges over Mount Snowdon and Mount Peel to Mount Arthur; thence towards the south-east by a line along the summit of a leading range over Mount Luna and along the summit of Lyell Range to Bald Hill; thence by a line down a leading spur on the western side of Eight-mile or Boundary Stream to the mouth of that stream; thence to and down the left bank of the Buller River to a point due east of Trig. Station B.R.S. on the western boundary of Block I, Maruia Survey District, thence southerly along the ridge leading to Boundary Peak; thence along the summit of Brunner
