A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of October 1951.

Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks XVII, XVIII, and XIX, Lowry Peaks Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Alan Stephen Westland of Cheviot, Sheep-farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 442, folio 119 (Canterbury Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by William Henry Robinson of Domett, Sheep-farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 479, folio 63 (Canterbury Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land thirdly and fourthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Archibald Champion Hyde, of Cheviot, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 442, folio 123 (Canterbury Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land fifthly, sixthly, and seventhly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by George Bernard Cooper, of Cheviot, Farmer, and Violet Muriel Cooper, his Wife, as tenants in common, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 442, folio 127 (Canterbury Land Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land eighthly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Harry Geeson, of Cheviot, Farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume 163, folio 136 (Canterbury Land Registry), are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of October 1951.
