Appointing Trustees for the Management of the Boat-slip or Landing at Moeraki

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of September, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the 11th day of June 1947 and published in the Gazette of the 25th day of the same month at page 751, the management of the boat-slip landing or wharf at Port Moeraki, in the Waitaki County, shown on plan marked M.D. 2962, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, was vested in Harry Barker, Alexander Michael John McLellan, M.M., and Olaf Trygvason, all of Port Moeraki, as trustees for the inhabitants of the Waitaki County:
And whereas Olaf Trygvason is dead and Harry Barker and Alexander Michael John McLellan, M.M., have resigned their appointments as trustees and it is desirable to appoint trustees in their places.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Harbours Act 1950 and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Sydney John Dodd, Edward John Pile, and Leslie William Pile, all of Moeraki, to be trustees for the management of the boat-slip landing or wharf at Port Moeraki subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule to the hereinbefore recited Order in Council on the 11th day of June 1947, and such trustees shall charge and take the dues and rates for the use of the said boat-slip landing or wharf prescribed in the Second Schedule to the said Order in Council of the 11th day of June 1947.

Authorizing the Laying-off of an Extension of Wintere Road, in the Borough of Papatoetoe, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 135325, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, being an extension of Wintere Road, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 35·8 perches, more or less, being part Lots 9 and 10, D.P. 8105, being portion of Section 38, Parish of Manurewa. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135325, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Laurie Street in the Borough of Te Awamutu, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928 and section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Te Awamutu Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 134295, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre-line of the proposed street.
SCHEDULE

Taonui Street, in the City of Palmerston North, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of September 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 23rd day of July 1951, viz.:
“The Palmerston North City Council declares that the provisions of paragraph (1) of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to Taonui Street, being a public street within the City of Palmerston North ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of Taonui Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 41 ft. 3 in. from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT street in the City of Palmerston North, known as Taonui Street, situated between Cuba Street and Featherstone Street in the said City.
