RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Engine Loan 1951 of £1,200

RESOLVED that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of and interest on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by this Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a fire-engine, this Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-fifths of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Alexandra, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Housing Loan 1951 of £31,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Wednesday, the 12th day of September, 1951, viz:
"In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest repayment of principal and other charges on a loan of thirty-one thousand pounds (£31,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Loan 1951 authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of purchasing erecting and servicing prefabricated housing units the Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nineteen eight hundredths of a penny (19/8d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of twenty (20) years from the last day of February 1952 or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Arai Loan 1951 of £1,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling eight access roads in the Arai Riding, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 4813221 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Arai Riding of the County of Rodney, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rodney County Council held on the 14th day of June 1951.
