NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth :—

I, EDWARD LESLIE ADAMS, Returning Officer for the Eastern Maori Electoral District, do hereby declare the result of the poll taken on the 1st day of September 1951, for the election of a Member of Parliament for the said district to be as follows :—

Alfred Thomas Carroll .. 5,199
Tiaki Omana .. 8,905
Total number of valid votes polled .. 14,104
Number of votes rejected as informal .. 245
I therefore declare the said Tiaki Omana to be elected.
