At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of September 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the members of the Rakaipaaka Tribe, as a burial-ground.

Variation of Order in Council Prohibiting Alienation of Certain Maori Lands or Lands Owned by Maoris

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 167 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the 4th day of April, 1932, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 7th day of April, 1932, at page 735, and affecting Hauturu East B 2, Section 2A 1A, and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Directing the Laying-out of a Service-lane in the City of Auckland of a Width Less than 12 ft.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 9 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the width of the proposed service-lane described in the Schedule hereto shall be less than 12 ft., but not less than 10 ft.

THAT proposed service-lane in the City of Auckland to be known as Exchange Lane, containing by admeasurement :—

The North-western Side of Portion of Cecil Road, in the City of Wellington, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of September 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 11th day of April 1951, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, shall not apply to the north-west side of the portion of Cecil Road adjoining Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6419, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume 41, folio 94 (Wellington Registry)” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Cecil Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of 25 ft. from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE

THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Cecil Road, fronting Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6419, being part Section 3, Kaiwarra District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135198, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Lindis Rabbit Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of September 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for Rabbit Board buildings :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Lindis Rabbit Board :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Lindis Rabbit Board, in trust, for Rabbit Board buildings.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 2, Block XIII, Lindis Survey District : Area, 2 acres, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act, 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act, 1950. (S.O. plan 5390.)
