HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Kenneth Maxwell Allen,
Frank Gardner,
Allen Francis Higgs,
Walter Morrison Reid,
Arthur Laurence Richardson,
Robert Selwyn Ricketts, and
Andrew Robert Torrie
to be the Taneatua Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday,
the 15th day of October, 1951, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Domain Pavilion, Taneatua, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by subsection (2) of section 171 of the Coal-mines
Act 1925, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in
this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be
exempt from the operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act 1925,
and do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect as
from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
