THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 8 acres 2 roods.

Being portion of Ohauroa Block.

Situated in Blocks II and III, Hukatere Survey District. (M.L. plan 8885.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3168, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3072, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September 1951.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation Taking Additional Land at Kopuawhara for the Purpose of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the 7th day of March, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 271, taking additional land at Kopuawhara for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway—as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Being part railway land in Proclamation 90422, being formerly part road.

Situated in Block III, Mahanga Survey District, Wairoa County. (S.O. 2544.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11101, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of September 1951.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway.
