SCHEDULE
SITUATED in Southland County—
All that area at Balfour consisting of those portions of roads hereinafter described :—
(1) Gore–Lumsden State Highway No. 66, commencing at its junction with the Balfour–Glenure Road and terminating at its junction with George Street.
(2) Balfour–Glenure Road, commencing at its junction with the Gore–Lumsden State Highway and terminating at a point 20 chains measured along the said road in a south-westerly direction from the said junction.

Amending Speed Limitation Imposed by Section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949
IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that Warrant dated the 23rd day of November, 1938,* which applies to the portion of road described in the First Schedule hereto and doth hereby exclude the portion of road which is described in the Second Schedule hereto from limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Lower Hutt Borough—
Seaview Road (all that portion commencing at the Waiwhetu River Bridge and terminating at the southern boundary of Lower Hutt Borough as now constituted, a distance of approximately 48 chains).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Lower Hutt City—
Seaview Road (all that portion commencing at the southern boundary of Lower Hutt City as now constituted and terminating at a point 29 chains measured along the said road in a north-westerly direction from the said boundary).

Classification of Roads in Waipara County
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve the Waipara County Council's proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule attached and situated in the Waipara County.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Auckland for an Automatic-telephone Exchange
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of an automatic-telephone exchange—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Auckland and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 39 perches.
Being Allotments 58 and 59 of Section 36 of the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 25, folio 16 (Auckland Land Registry).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 135120, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

L. F. Binns, 26 Titirangi Road, New Lynn, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 26 Titirangi Road, New Lynn.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., High Street, East Oxford, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on premises at High Street, East Oxford.
T. R. Quinn, Studholme Junction, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Studholme Junction.
After Hours Petrol Service (Christchurch), Ltd., Christchurch, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from the premises of G. Dickinson and Sons, Ltd., 176 Hereford Street, Christchurch, during hours when petrol-service stations are normally closed.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 13th September, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
