A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 3 acres and 21·1 perches.
Being part Section 20.
Situated in Block X, Mount Cerberus Survey District. (S.O. 22213.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134955, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1951.

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land, being closed road, described in the First Schedule hereto, to be added to the Scenic Reserve, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of closed road: 10 acres 3 roods 37 perches.
Being Section 18.
Situated in Block XV, Lyell Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9680.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133882, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Murchison County, containing 7,297 acres, more or less, being Part Reserve 4 (in red), situated in Blocks XIV, XV, and XVI, Lyell Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Maruia Survey District, and being the balance of the land described in New Zealand Gazette 1907, page 452.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1951.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for Street in the City of Lower Hutt and Taking Land for Street and in Connection with Street Extension in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and paragraph (j) of section 25 of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 1st day of October, 1948, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 53 of the 7th day of the same month at page 1249, taking land for street in the City of Lower Hutt, and I do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street extension, and that the said parcels of land, which together comprise the land described in the Proclamation hereby revoked, shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of September, 1951.
