SECOND SCHEDULE
A LINE commencing at the western corner of Lot 34, D.P. 1162, at the point marked 1 mile 79·8 chains, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 22·7 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., railway land, part plan B/287, all being parts Section 8, Kaiwarra Registration District, Block III, Port Nicholson Survey District, Sections I and II of Otari Native Reserve Block, Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, and terminating at a point on the south-western boundary of the said Section II, Otari Native Reserve Block, 9 chains north-west from its intersection with the Kaiwharawhara Stream, marked 2 miles 22·5 chains, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, streets, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Wellington Land District. Authorizing the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waipawa

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of August, 1951
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purposes of section 76 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, subject to the said conditions, doth hereby authorize the licensee to construct the said electric works.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (f) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The voltage shall be 11,000 volts between phases.
- DURATION OF LICENCE
This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 2nd day of March, 1967.
- PURPOSE OF THE LINES
The lines hereinafter described shall not be used to supply consumers in the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, being those parts of the line shown in red on the plan marked S.H.D. 162, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, which are situated in the County of Waipawa.

Authorizing the Purchase by the Wairoa Electric-power Board of Certain Electric Works from the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the purchase, on the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement hereinafter referred to, by the Wairoa Electric-power Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) of certain electric works, the property of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department (hereinafter referred to as the Minister), as described in Schedule A to a certain agreement bearing date the 10th day of July, 1951, and made between the Minister of the one part and the Board of the other part, of which agreement a copy has been deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.
