Revoking a Proclamation Taking Additional Land for a Students’
Hostel in the Borough of Masterton

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation
dated the 5th day of April, 1951, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 30 of the 12th day of the same month, at page 485,
and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under
No. 4333, taking additional land for a students’ hostel.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of August, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for a students’ hostel ; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August,
1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 2 roods.
Being part of Section 24, Masterton Small Farm Settlement, and
comprising Lot 46 and part of Lot 45, D.P. 1878, and being the

cottage ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 20th day of August, 1951.
