A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton — New Plymouth Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9·84 perches.
Being part Section 21, right bank Wanganui River.
Situated in Block III, Westmere Survey District, City of Wanganui. (S.O. 22364.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10991, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of July, 1951.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Additional Land for a Public School in Block IX, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 26th day of April, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26 of the 4th day of May, 1950, at page 513, taking additional land for a public school in Block IX, Otahuhu Survey District, such land being no longer required.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve taken: 14 acres 3 roods 4 perches.
Being land below mean high-water mark (Auckland Harbour).
Situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District (Borough of Devonport), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 36655.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134834, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1951.

Land Taken for a Recreation-ground in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of August, 1951.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 33 perches.
Being Lot 13, D.P. 36999, being portion of Allotments 96 and 97, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 978, folio 3 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of August, 1951.
