A PROCLAMATION

I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, being desirous that the General Assembly of New Zealand should
be held as soon as may be, do declare that I have this day signed my Warrant
directing the Clerk of the Writs to proceed with the election of members of
Parliament to serve in the House of Representatives for all the electoral districts
within New Zealand.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued
under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of August, 1951.
