Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936 (Whangaparaoa Development Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act, 1939, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Matakaoa County, Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement a total area of 118 acres 35·5 perches, more or less, being Section I, Block III, Whangaparaoa Survey District (112 acres 30 perches), and Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block IV, Whangaparaoa Township (6 acres 5·5 perches), situated in Block II, Whangaparaoa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 3091, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of July, 1951.

Crown Land in the Canterbury Land District Set Apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 9 of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XVI, Leeston Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being part Rural Section 5787, and being also described as Subsection 48 on a plan lodged in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as Deeds Index Plan (1), No. 18. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/7/118A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of July, 1951.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation Setting Apart Crown Land for Housing Purposes in Southland Land District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 9 of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the 24th day of December, 1946, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1 of the 9th day of January, 1947, at page 4, setting apart Crown land for the purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919, the said land being no longer required for such purposes.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—TOWN OF WYNDHAM

ALL that area containing 1 rood 13·5 perches, more or less, being Lots 8 and 9, D.P. 4256, being part Section 2, Block XV, Town of Wyndham, and being also part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 163, folio 157 (Southland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1951.

Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Off in Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 7th day of April, 1936, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of section 483 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the said Act :

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the said Act :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
