A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act, 1852, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being desirous that the General Assembly of New Zealand should be held as soon as may be, do hereby summon the said General Assembly to meet in the Parliament House, in the City of Wellington, on Thursday, the 4th day of October, 1951, at 2.30 p.m.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of July, 1951.
