Wanganui, 5th February, 1951.

IN the Notice of Adoptions under Part IX of the Maori Land Act, 1931, dated the 7th day of November, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 70 of the 16th day of November, 1950, at page 1988, and affecting James William Ngatai and others, for “Nganeko Tika Rakena Hamahona”, read “Nganeko Tika Rokena Hamahona” and; for “Synette Toa, hereafter to be known as Synette Hamahona”, read “Lynette Toa, hereafter to be known as Lynette Hamahona”.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Thames Valley – Rotorua Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :—

5 3 30 Lot 3, D.P. 12610, being part Section 1, Block VI, Patetere North Survey District ; coloured orange.
0 0 13·1 Part Lot 1, D.P. 36668, being part Mangakaretu No. 1 Block ; coloured sepia.
3 2 19 Part Road ; coloured green, edged green.
0 0 19 Part Road ; coloured green, edged green.
0 0 19·4 Part Road ; coloured green, edged green.

All situated in Block VI, Patetere North Survey District, Matamata County. (S.O. 34852.)

In the South Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10671, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 4·3 perches. Being part Lot 19, D.P. 3121, being part Allotment 25, Section 1, Village of Howick.

Situated in the Howick Town District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 924, folio 206 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of February, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of February, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 17·4 perches. Being Lot 1, D.P. 30497, being part Allotment 6, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in the Borough of Mount Eden, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 747, folio 144 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of February, 1951.
