Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

A. C. Dustin, corner of Strand and McLean Streets, Tauranga,
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps
to be installed on service-station and garage premises at corner
of Strand and McLean Streets, Tauranga.

G. D. Tinker, Lochiel, Southland, has applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed
garage and service-station premises, half a mile north from Lochiel.

R. E. M. Clarke, Coronation Road, Mangere, has applied for
a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps to be installed
on garage and service-station premises at Coronation Road, Mangere.

Domett Truck and Trailer Co., Ltd., 42-44 Aorangi Street,
Feilding, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one
pump to be installed on garage premises at 42-44 Aorangi Street,
Feilding.

Southland Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., Main
Street, Winton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from
one pump to be installed on garage premises at Main Street, Winton.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 9th August, 1951, submit
any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of
Industry, Box 3025, Wellington.

The Standards Act, 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification—
No. D. 3700—New Zealand Standard Code of Building By-laws,
Draft Part: Reinforced Concrete Wall Construction

NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand
Standard Specification is now being circulated to affected
interests for consideration and comment. The closing date fixed
for such comment is the 17th October, 1951.

All persons who may be affected by this specification once it
has been declared a standard specification by the Minister of In-
dustries and Commerce may, at any time before the closing date
for comments, obtain, on application, free copies from the New
Zealand Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton
Quay, Wellington, so as to have an opportunity to consider the
draft and to comment thereon to the Standards Council or to an
appropriate committee of the Council in accordance with subsection
(3) of section 8 of the Standards Act, 1941.

War Standard C75.3-1942.

N.Z.S.S. 688: Power-type wire-wound rheostats; being American
War Standard C75.9-1944.
N.Z.S.S. 689: Variable wire-wound resistors (low-operating

N.Z.S.S. 690: Fixed paper-dielectric capacitors (hermetically
sealed in metallic cases); being American War Standard
