Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 246 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the sale to the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, of all the interest in land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

ALL that undivided half-share, registered in the name of the Gisborne Sheep-farmers’ Frozen Meat and Mercantile Company, Limited, in that piece of land situated in Block XVI, Mangaoparo Survey District, containing 3 acres 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part of the land called or known as Manutahi 1A Block, and being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 3717, and being the whole of the interest described in certificate of title, Volume 95, folio 152 (Gisborne Registry).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Egmont County, known as Goodwin Road, in Blocks IX and X, Cape Survey District, commencing at its junction with the Puniho Road at the northern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 6579, and proceeding thence in a generally southerly direction along the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 2, D.P. 6579, the eastern boundary of Section 53, Block IX, Cape Survey District, thence passing through Sections 54 and 55, Block IX, Cape Survey District, and thence along portion of the western boundary of Section 31, Block X, Cape Survey District, for a total distance of 128 chains more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134637, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the access-ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Devonport and be under the control and management of the Devonport Borough Council.

WHEREAS the Mackenzie County Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes pursuant to the terms of a requisition issued under section 22 of the Health Act, 1920, to raise a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) to be known as “Fairlie Water Supply Augmentation Loan, 1951” (hereinafter called the said loan) for the purpose of providing waterworks for the improvement of the water-supply of the Township of Fairlie, such waterworks comprising the laying of a water-main, the installation of a water-chlorinating plant and incidental works ;
