Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 3 acres 2 roods 38 perches.

Being Lots 228 to 230 and 236 to 250, all inclusive, D.P. 4363, being part Section 34, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, situated in the City of Invercargill, and being parts of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 161, folio 228, and Volume 149, folio 4 (Southland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 37·7 perches.

Being Lot 4, D.P. 7308, being portion of Suburban Section 23, Town of Taihape, situated in the Borough of Taihape, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 328, folio 10 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1951.
