Notice of Adoptions Under Part IX of the Maori Land Act, 1931

IT is hereby notified that the orders of adoption as set out in the Schedule hereunder have been made by the Maori Land Court under the provisions of the Maori Land Act, 1931.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936--Tikitere Development Scheme
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 29th day of May, 1933, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 46 of the 22nd day of June, 1933, at page 1657, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Aotea Maori Land Court District containing 1 acre and 17.2 perches, more or less, called or known as Ranana Reserve No. 10 (part), and situate in the Tauakira Survey District.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936 (Wharekahika Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 15th day of March, 1938, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 19 of the 17th day of March, 1938, at page 498, whereby the said land was declared to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936.

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 21st day of March, 1931, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 23 of the 26th day of March, 1931, at page 720, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land.
