and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington,
for the purpose of maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the
said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company
upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations
1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable,
apply hereto. - The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds
ten shillings (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable shall be two
pounds (£2). - The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the
1st day of July, 1951.

Council’s Loan of £10,000 by Extending the Term Within Which
the said Loan may be Borrowed

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the 7th day of
September, 1949 (hereinafter called the said Order in
Council), and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and
repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in
New Zealand by the Wellington City Council (hereinafter called the
said local authority) of a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000)
to be known as “Street Widening Loan, 1950” (hereinafter called
the said loan):
And whereas the said loan has not yet been raised and it is
expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect
of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on
him by section 11 of the Local Government Loans Board Act,
1926, as set out in section 29 of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2),
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf,
doth hereby vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the
said loan by prescribing that no moneys shall be borrowed under
the consent given by the said Order in Council after the expiration of
four (4) years from the date thereof.

Withdrawing Land From the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
July, 1951

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section 178 of the Land Act, 1948, it is enacted
that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on
the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, declare that
any land comprised in a Kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to
be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum
Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land
to which the Order relates shall become Crown land subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1948.
And whereas the Land Settlement Board has recommended that
the portions of the Puketoetoe Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in
the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operation of the Kauri-
gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such
recommendation.
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section 178 of the Land Act, 1948, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portions of
the Puketoetoe Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule
hereto, shall, from the 2nd day of July, 1951, cease to be subject to
the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 22 acres 1 rood, more
or less, being parts of section 34, Block VIII, Rangaunu Survey
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan

ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 6th day of
December, 1926, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on
the 16th day of that month (hereinafter referred to as the said Order
in Council), a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the
Herries Memorial Park Domain :
And whereas an error was made in the description of the said
domain in the Schedule to the said Order in Council by the exclusion
therefrom of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and it is
expedient that this error should be rectified :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby amend the
Schedule to the said Order in Council by including therein the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Leslie George Braid,
Robert Francis Houlihan,
Alexander Kemp Mackenzie,
Sydney Graham Olive, and
Walter Allan Stronach
to be the Waikawa Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby appoint Wednes-
day, the 18th day of July, 1951, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and Currie’s Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.
