Land Taken for Cemetery Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for cemetery purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of June, 1951.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 35·49 perches. Being Lots 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44, D.P. 9848, being part Section 33, Karori District.
Situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 20212.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101509, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1951.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for Cemetery Purposes in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 12th day of January, 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2 of the 18th day of January, 1951, at page 33, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 4289, taking land for cemetery purposes in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1951.

Land and an Easement Over Land in Block I, Russell Survey District, Taken for Defence Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land first described in the said First Schedule.

0 1 15·2} coloured sepia, edged sepia.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134324, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land Held for Housing Purposes Set Apart for the Purposes of Scientific and Industrial Research (Soil Survey) in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for the purposes of scientific and industrial research (soil survey); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of June, 1951.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 6 acres 2 roods 14·5 perches.
Being part of Section 61, Hutt District.
Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 22197.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133877, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of June, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for housing purposes is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of June, 1951.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood 5·54 perches. Being Lot 9A, D.P. 8164, being part Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block, situate in the City of Napier, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume 125, folio 61 (Hawke's Bay Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of June, 1951.
