Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Pharmacy Industry
L. J. Taylor, P.O. Box 166, Masterton, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Karu Crescent, Waikanae.
A. R. Pickmere, 13 Radcliffe Street, Whangarei, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 165 Bank Street, Whangarei.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Baker and Valder, Kaikohe, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Main Street, Kaikohe.
E. H. V. and F. S. V. Stuckey, Raetihi, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Seddon Street, Raetihi.
Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., P.O. Box 452, Masterton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on premises at Fitzherbert Street, Featherston.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 7th June, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II) (Unclaimed Lands)
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto: And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act: I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (Β£500).
SCHEDULE
All that parcel of land containing 1 rood, more or less, being Section 1, Block XX, Town of Palmerston, being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 9, folio 199 (Otago Registry), and being all the land comprised in a grant dated the 20th day of September, 1872, under the Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866, to one Edward John Filewood, of Palmerston, Settler.
